INDIA (eTN) – As part of its policy to increase collaborations, the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Guwahati-based Assam Down Town University (ADTU), to collaborate on a three-year Bachelorโs hotel management course, to be conducted at the university, with industrial training at ITDC hotels.
ITDC will provide its expertise in designing the curriculum for the course, enabling the students to keep up with the latest trends in the fast-growing hospitality industry.
The successful students will receive joint certification from both the ITDC and the ADTU.
The course will commence in April 2015. The MOU was signed at the Hotel Brahamputra of the ITDC in Guwahati on December 15, 2014.
