A Qantas Boeing 717 that was forced to turn back to Hobart has become the fourth flight by that Australian Air carrier in two days to make an unscheduled landing.

The Qantas plane decided to turn back 20 minutes into a flight to Melbourne after an indicator light in the cockpit went off, a spokeswoman said.

The plane, which holds up to 110 passengers, left Hobart just before 6:30pm (AEDT).

The Boeing 717 is being assessed by engineers in Hobart.

It was the fourth time in two days a Qantas plane had been forced to make an unscheduled landing. After all it may point for Australia’s pilots to be careful – what is never a mistake.
