NEW YORK, New York – Today Embratur (Brazilian Tourism Board) launched a new advertising campaign, where international tourists who visited Brazil during the 2014 FIFA World Cup express their gratitude for experiences in the country and show their commitment to go back. “The ad campaign also invites tourists who did not attend the World Cup to come enjoy the many cultural and natural Brazilian destinations,” said Vicente Neto, Embratur’s president.

The campaign consists of the video entitled “Always,” and highlights the satisfaction of fans around the world who were impressed by what they found in Brazil. The images, all recorded during the World Cup, also highlighted several differentiating attributes of the country: the way of the people, the cultural and natural diversity, as well as the rich gastronomy. The videos will have versions in German, English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

“We have prepared it in a special way, knowing that Brazil would be host to the biggest sporting event when almost half the world’s population would be tuned in to what was happening here. This new campaign aims to show in a few seconds a bit of everything Brazil and the Brazilians offered in the five regions where the games took place,” added Mr. Neto.

The release of the video will take place via social media networks, including Facebook and Twitter, as well as Youtube. “The action will be reinforced in Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Paraguay, USA, Canada and Germany, major sources of visitors during the World Cup,” explained the Mr. Neto.

Mr. Neto also stressed that this initiative is included in the planning of Embratur to promote Brazil as a destination for major events. “The work of promoting Brazil started in the period before the World Cup and now continues with post-World, and it contemplates other sporting events that will happen in the coming years here,” he added.
