The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, SITE, will hold its global conference in India for the first time next year. The meeting, with some 300 top players in the field, will gather in New Delhi from October 21 to 25, 2015.

As a curtain raiser for the event, India will host a Destination Luncheon at the Netherlands meeting of SITE next month.

Another honor for India is that Rajeev Kohli of Creative Travel, and Vice President of the Indian Association of Tour Operators, has been elected to the SITE board, and will be its President in 2016. The IATO at its monthly meeting on October 8 honored Kohli for his SITE position.

Rajeev is the elder son of Ram Kohli who passed away recently and had held various postions in national and international associations.

While SITE is well known all over the world, the Indian chapter was set up in 2012 but has quickly gained a name for itself.

The hosting of the global conference next year is expected to increase the awareness of the many attractions and facilities that India now has for taking care of incentive groups from all over the world.
