INDIA (eTN) – For the first time ever, over 20,000 women artists from across India will be brought together at the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women’s University grounds in Mumbai from November 22-24 of this year.

Dr. Prof. Vasudha Kamath, Vice Chancellor, SNDT University will be inaugurating the Art Utsav 2014โ€™s womenโ€™s edition. Besides the fact that the entire metropolis gets to witness the works of the women painters and sculptors over the three-day period of the exhibition, the event will also see the auction of work by Bollywood celebrities as well. The consultants on the prestigious project include Govind Swarup, Ex-Principal Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of Maharashtra, and Captain Jagdish Khokar, Veteran โ€“ Indian Navy, among others.
