Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, was recently honored at this year’s Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Passenger Choice Awards Ceremony in California, USA, winning the John White Publication Award for best inflight publication.

Commenting on this achievement Gulf Air Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Ahmed Janahi said: “We are pleased to have the Gulf Air experience recognized by the Passenger Choice Awards. We are constantly striving to deliver excellence to our passengers by enhancing a broad spectrum of deliverables from our convenient flight schedules, multiple daily regional flights and variety of products and services both on the ground and onboard.”

Receiving the award on behalf of the airline, Gulf Air Senior Manager Inflight & Product, Mr. Mohamad ElAssaad commented: “Winning this award is a reflection of Gulf Air’s ongoing commitment to delivering excellence in our onboard products and services. The Gulf Air inflight publication, GulfLife, is a tool to help enhance our passengers’ onboard comfort, giving them information about various destinations across our network, in addition to updates about our airline – thereby further meeting passenger needs while at 30,000ft.”

The annual Passenger Choice Awards have rapidly distinguished themselves as the industry’s foremost honor, as they represent the opinions of passengers. Comprising 13 individual categories, The Passenger Choice Awards were created by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) to give the flying public a voice to recognize airline excellence and innovation in the passenger experience.
