PressRelease: LOS ANGELES, California – Green Globe is proud to announce that the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), at its 98th Session in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, has accepted the sustainable tourism certification company as an Affiliate Member.

UNWTO Affiliate Members demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainable, ethical and socially responsible tourism that contributes to the worldโ€™s economic and social development.

Green Globe is a leader in its field, providing professional certification of sustainability credentials to tourism businesses around the world. In this role, Green Globe is committed to connecting to all sectors of the travel and tourism industry, including businesses, governments and not-for-profits, so that it may share its knowledge, innovation and best practices.
