A safe, hospitable, and peaceful travel and tourism place it is? There is nothing in the world that beautiful ladies could not convince Mr. Obama and Mr. Putin to believe.

A safe, hospitable, and peaceful travel and tourism place it is? There is nothing in the world that beautiful ladies could not convince Mr. Obama and Mr. Putin to believe. Relations between the United States and Russia may be at a low, but Mrs. America and Mrs. World Russia found a new venue for their 2015 contest and a sign to have peace through tourism in Crimea. To see Mrs. America 2015 you don’t have to travel to Florida or Hawaii, but to far-away Crimea, Russia, or should we say occupied Ukraine?

Mrs. America is a big event with participants from every US State. Mrs. Ukrainian Diaspora, a Ukrainian-American organization based in Chicago, is deeply concerned about the announcement by Mrs. America of its decision to move its 2015 pageant to Crimea in Russia. Crimea was recently taken away from Ukraine and just made part of Russia by president Putin and after a referendum vote.

The decision to hold the 39th Mrs. America pageant far beyond United States borders in the city of Sevastopol in Crimea โ€“ was announced at the contest’s latest final in Tucson, Arizona.

The capital city of the Crimean peninsula will welcome two beauty pageants next year.

David Marmel, president of the Mrs. America and Mrs. World pageants, said that 51 representatives (one from each of the US states plus the District of Columbia) will travel to Sevastopol with their husbands, children, and friends, who will come to cheer them on and relax on the Black Sea Coast.

Marmel added that the event will show the world that Crimea is a “safe, hospitable, and peaceful travel and tourism place.”
