Most of those that died were killed from collapsing roofs and buildings as the floods tore buildings down as waters raged across the cities of Punjab, Lahore, and Kashmir. Those that died included women and children, while 3 perished from electrocution, and 28 were been injured and taken to nearby hospitals.

In Kashmir, the Jhelum and Neelum rivers are close to breeching their banks, and 3 soldiers have died in the area due to a mudslide.

Authorities are searching for survivors in the debris.
