HONG KONG – Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company with approximately 7,540 hotels and part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, continues to rapidly expand its portfolio of offerings in China under the upscale Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® brand flag.

The openings of Wyndham Grand Xi’an South and Wyndham Kunming Resort, along with the anticipated opening of Wyndham Xuzhou East, adds to the 760 hotels and more than 86,200 rooms currently open in China under the Hotel Group’s Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Days Inn®, Howard Johnson®, Ramada® and Super 8® brands.

China, which continues to be one of the fastest-growing markets for hotel development in Asia-Pacific, is a key country for Wyndham Hotel Group’s global growth. From July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, the Company opened 240 properties throughout the region, 211 of which were opened in China.
