Magisto (magisto.com) has announced that the search is on for the best “Love My City” video.

Magisto (magisto.com) has announced that the search is on for the best “Love My City” video. “We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Ford and Techonomy Media to launch a new contest – the Love My City Video Contest!” Magisto said in a recent release.

The contest is open to legal residents of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen years of age as of the date of entry. To those who qualify, Magisto has this to say: “You’re invited to share a movie showcasing what you love about the city you live in for the chance to win a one-of-a-kind prize package including a $250 Amazon.com gift card, a $100 iTunes gift card, a Patagonia messenger bag and more!”

Entering is easy – follow these steps to create your movie:

1. Upload photos and videos showing your love for your city

2. Select an editing style and song

3. Give your movie a title that includes the hashtag #LoveMyCity

All movies with #LoveMyCity in the title, submitted by September 12, 2014 at 11:59pm EST, will automatically be added to the Love My City Video Contest album on magisto.com.

Judges from Magisto, Techonomy and Ford will select a winner and their movie will be presented on stage at Techonomy Detroit 2014 by Magisto CMO Reid Genauer on September 16, 2014.

The winning movie will also be presented on stage at Techonomy Detroit 2014, which will take place on September 16.

Techonomy Detroit, on its third year, “brings together leaders and thinkers from business, technology, government and academia to better understand how to move the US, and the world, into an urbanized, technologized, inclusive future.”
