May Change Travel Plans Without Penalty

AirTran Airways customers in Houston and San Antonio affected by Hurricane Ike

ORLANDO, FL (September 10, 2008) - Based on the current forecasts for Hurricane Ike by the National Hurricane Center, AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., is offering passengers with flights booked to/from Houston and San Antonio, Texas from noon on September 12, through September 13, 2008, the opportunity to change their travel plans without change fees or fare adjustments. Passengers may adjust their travel plans to an alternate date starting today through seven days from the original travel date.

Passengers holding reservations for travel to/from these destinations scheduled through September 13, 2008, should check www.airtran.com under "Flight Status" for updates or call 1-800-AIRTRAN (247-8726).
