LOG ON, the winners of EIBTM’s WorldWide Technology Watch in 2006, in partnership with MISSION event software, is making a welcome return to EIBTM with their Mobile Exhibition Assistant.
The product enables exhibitors, hosted buyers and visitors to meet their communications and technology interaction needs at EIBTM through their mobile, PDA or laptop. They will be able to quickly and efficiently access their personal appointment schedule, search for exhibitors, view EIBTM program schedules and check shuttle bus timetables, as well as find information on transport, travel and hotel information in Barcelona.
Mandy Torrens, exhibition director for EIBTM commented, “Our continuing partnership with LOG ON is very exciting as we are now, for the second year running, able to offer an enhanced experience to all our exhibitors and visitors thanks to information being available literally at their fingertips.
“When we came across the Mobile Exhibition Assistant through our WorldWide Technology Watch in 2006, we knew it was an innovative idea with strong potential for the meetings industry. The service proved so successful in 2007 that we are delighted to offer it again – this time with even more benefits.”
Johan Bax director of LOG ON said, “We are thrilled to be involved at EIBTM for a second year, continuing to be at the forefront of introducing new technology to such a dynamic industry. In the next few years, mobile technology will play an even greater role in improving efficiency and interactivity within the meetings industry.”
The Mobile Exhibition Assistant is available to all exhibitors, hosted buyers and visitors using a mobile phone or PDA connected to the internet. Attendees can opt in to the service when completing the online registration form at www.eibtm.com
EIBTM takes place from December 2-4, 2008 in Fira Gran Via, Barcelona.
