SEOUL, South Korea – Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) invites you to experience the beauty and culture of Korea as part of a new campaign, “To:ur Imagination.” The promotion offers a unique look into the Korean vacations of international celebrities and the opportunity to win one of eight excursions to the country this fall.

KTO’s “To:ur Imagination” campaign offers the opportunity to experience the beauty of Korea this October and November. Winners will be asked to record videos of their journeys, and share them online. You can enter for your chance to visit Korea by August 31 at www.tourimagination.com. Eight winners will be selected at random to receive a four-day vacation for two.

Since last May, KTO invited celebrities from the U.S., as well as Thailand, Japan and China to visit Korea and experience the country’s latest styles, drama, and beauty treatments.

YouTube make-up and beauty artist Michelle Phan, famous for her DIY style, recently returned from a visit to Korea with her boyfriend, Dominique Anthony Capraro. The couple explored Jejudo Island and other attractions, experiencing Korea’s finest spas and unique style. They captured their trip on video to share Korea’s beauty with her worldwide followers. “The natural beauty of Jejudo Island is breathtaking,” Phan said. “The spas were exquisite and relaxing, and the food was delectable. Our romantic vacation to Korea this spring was beyond our imagination.”

Other international celebrities who have recently traveled to Korea include:

Kenichi Ebina, a global star from Japan who won America’s Got Talent 2013 with his creative martial arts and dance performance. While in Korea, he learned Korea’s Taekwondo from Olympic gold medalists at the Taekwondo Center in Muju, and enjoyed the hologram performance of top K-pop artists at Klive, the world’s first hologram concert hall.
Mario Maurer, Thailand’s top actor, who experienced Korea’s latest trends in popular fashion and shopping districts such as Heyri, Samcheong-dong, and Garosu-gil.

China’s rising drama star Jiang Xin played scenes from a hit Korean drama “My Love from the Star” at Jangsa Island’s marine park and N. Seoul Tower where the drama’s protagonists Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun had dates. She also went to Myeong-dong and experienced fashion and make-up items which Jun Ji-hyun wore in the drama.

To reflect the interests of global travelers, KTO has recently has announced their new brand slogan, “Imagine Your Korea.” Korean music sensation BIGBANG serves as the honorary ambassador for the “To:ur Imagination” campaign and appears in a global TV ad for KTO. In addition, KTO will leverage year-round integrated marketing communications including mobile and social network services.
