Kiev says pro-Russian rebels have removed 38 bodies as an investigation into how Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was brought down is still to begin.

Malaysia wants the black box to be returned to Kuala Lumpur, but it’s not clear who has control over the black box, or if it was even secured yet.

ETN spoke in a phone call with a resident in the separatist region of the Eastern Ukraine. This resident says everyone is saying that Kiev did not send help after the Malaysia Airlines crash when it was requested. She claimed it was not true separatists stopped investigators from coming in.

She further claims the authorities in Kiev are trying to delay the rescue efforts to make a bad situation worse, so the outside world would send force. This “force” would help Kiev to gain control over the region.

Shortly after the eTN interviews, Reuters reported that rebel leaders accused Kiev of slowing down arrival of aviation experts to the MH17 crash site, and they would ask Russia for help.

Today in Luhansk alone more than 20 citizens were killed, and homes were destroyed. The Kiev army declared Luhansk to be under their control when in fact eyewitnesses in the city claimed this was untrue.
She told eTN that pre-schools and kindergarten are closed in Luhansk.

Workers did not want to take responsibility for any children being killed by the Ukrainian army.
