HONG KONG – The eagerly anticipated Cartoon Network Amazone water park and sensational Siam Square One are set to make visits to Thailand this summer a whole lot more special. Situated in Pattaya and Bangkok respectively, the new facilities are just two of the many attractions that continue to make the country one of the world’s leading holiday destinations.

Cartoon Network Amazone, the world’s first Cartoon Network-themed water park, is set to open its doors on July 31, 2014. Located in Bang Saray on Thailand’s east coast – just 15 minutes from Pattaya City –the entertainment complex is modeled after the Amazon rainforest, as well as the interesting Cartoon Network television shows and characters we’ve come to know and love including The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, Johnny Bravo, The Amazing World of Gumball and etc.

The water park features nine entertainment zones in all, each based on different Cartoon Network characters. Of those zones, six are fully constructed and ready to commence operations following the soft launch in July. From its high-speed water slides and exhilarating wave pools to its Adventure River attraction, Cartoon Network Amazone strives to delight guests of all ages and interests. The park is also home to Asia’s largest aqua playground, Cartoonival, which features over 150 interactive elements specially designed for children, such as curly slides, fountains, tubes, and two 1,000 liter giant tipping-buckets.

And in yet another first, Cartoon Network Amazone is the only place in the world where you can swim and vacation with your favorite Cartoon Network characters all year long.

Opened on June 5, Siam Square One is among the latest additions to the Bangkok shopping mall scene. The six-story facility is situated across from Siam Paragon and specializes in trendy fashion, lifestyle, and digital technology. The mall has also reserved extensive space for restaurant and cafes on its upper floors, making it a great place to spend the day.
