Airline Expects To Continue To Operate Flights

ARC continues processing as Alitalia Airlines files for receivership protection

ARC has been advised that Alitalia Airlines (AZ-055) has requested admission to receivership under Italian legal code (similar to bankruptcy under US legal code) on August 29, 2008 in Rome, Italy.

Alitalia Airlines stated that it expects to continue to operate flights and customer programs without interruption. On this basis, ARC will continue processing Alitalia Airlines-validated transactions, including sales, refunds and exchanges, without interruption.
