HONG KONG – To be held at Halls 1 of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, ITE opens only to trade on June 12 and 13 with around 20 seminars for travel trade, on MICE and Corporate Travel; and to public on June 14 and 15 with over 100 seminars some by celebrities and travel writers, cultural performances from abroad, exhibitors’ special offers and lucky draw etc. Tickets are available at the entrance.
On displays in the 28th edition of ITE are some 650 exhibitors (85% overseas) from around 45 countries and regions (about half outside Asia). Also highlighted are travel themes such as MICE, Sport Tourism, Travel Photography, Overseas Wedding & Honeymoon, Wellness, In-Depth Travel and Cruise etc through trade and public seminars, special displays and demos.
Repeating tourism boards with significant expansions include Guam, Switzerland, USA, and in particular Japan and Taiwan will each inclusively take more than 50 and 40 stands. Newly participating tourism boards come from Berlin of Germany, Czech, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, South Africa, Sweden, Palau, Tainan of Taiwan and Thailand. In all, around 100 tourism boards at national to municipal levels, hundreds of co-exhibitors in official pavilions and independent exhibitors including Hong Kong travel agents exhibit in ITE.
