CEO Dr. Michael Kerkloh (2nd from the left) welcomed a delegation led by Dr. Yiannis N. Paraschis (left), the head of Athens Airport, and the general secretary of the Greek national tourism organization, Panagiotis Leivadas (right) at Munich. Also on hand for the Bavarian-Greek encounter was the Greek consul Sofia Grammata. The airports in Athens and Munich are currently running poster and video campaigns to inform passengers about their party destinations.

Greece is a very popular destination for German travelers. In 2013, half a million passengers departed for Greece from Munich alone, including 190,000 who flew to Athens – and the numbers continue to grow.
