BERLIN, Germany – German authorities advised its citizens to avoid traveling to the eastern regions of Ukraine.

Travel advisory was issued on Sunday and posted on the Foreign Ministry’s site. According to the advisory, “the number of cases of armed takeovers of administrative agencies has increased, number of foreigners were arrested,” and “in the light of recent developments it can be assumed that foreign journalists and members of the media are being targeted.”

The advisory also states that even in Kiev, as well as in other cities, despite the improvement in the situation, the resumption of unrest cannot be ruled out.
