DALLAS, TX – An American Airlines passenger jet made an emergency landing in Abilene, TX on Tuesday.

DALLAS, TX – An American Airlines passenger jet made an emergency landing in Abilene, TX on Tuesday.

American Airlines spokeswoman Dori Alvarez said that AA Flight 1225, traveling from Mexico to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, landed safely after experiencing a cabin pressure problem.

There were 138 people – 133 passengers and 5 crew on board of MD-80.

The plane finally arrived at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 7pm, several hours later than its original scheduled arrival time.
