MH 370, the missing Malaysian Airliner had been a source of speculations for some time. This mystery is now even more deep. The co pilot of the aircraft Fariq Abdul Hamid, tried to make a mid-flight phone call from his mobile phone. The cell phone call, attempted just before the plane became untraceable with the radar, ended abruptly.

According to sources, the call was aborted because the plane was fast moving away from the telecom towers. A Malaysian daily report also opines that although the call reconnected, there is no certainty that it was indeed made. Furthermore, the reports did not disclose the recipient of the said phone.

Such a phone call could indicate the pilot knew about the situation on hand and was desperately trying alternative options to communicate with the outside world. This indicates more that Malaysian Airlines and crew most likely may not be involved in the cause of the tragedy.
