Jet Blue in a statement on its website states that four passengers have been taken to a hospital in Kingston, Jamaica for evaluation after they recorded an emergency landing at the Kingston International airport Monday evening.
The aircraft took off after 7.00pm local time and returned about 15 minutes later
The statement said that JetBlue flight 876 from Norman Manley International Airport to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport returned to Kingston after a report of a smoke odour.
JetBlue added that it will ensure all customer needs are met.
Maintenance staff and officials from Jamaica’s fire brigade were inspecting the commercial jet.
