Ahead of the inaugural edition of the Africa Travel Week and in particular the World Travel Market (WTM) Africa event, Polly Magraw of Reed Exhibitions has once again made it clear that travel professionals from Africa and beyond are all welcome to attend the event.

In a statement released yesterday she said: “It is important to us that WTM Africa provides a key industry platform that offers all travel industry professionals the chance to engage in real value business conversations, meet new contacts, exchange ideas, share best practice and learn and network in a fresh new environment. The wide range of pan-African and international products and services that will be on display on the show floor, as well as our comprehensive event program and range of networking events, mean that we can offer a high quality global event that will appeal to the broadest range of inbound, outbound and intra-regional travel professionals from retail leisure travel agents to corporate travel advisors. I would encourage anyone interested in attending WTM Africa to pre-register via wtmafrica.com ahead of the show to avoid the onsite registration fee.”

With just over 6 weeks to go, Reed Exhibitions will offer three distinct products during the Africa Travel Week, covering the key elements of travel to the continent.

The Africa Travel Week will comprise three co-located shows – WTM Africa, IBTM Africa and ILTM Africa – encompassing Africa’s inbound and outbound markets for general leisure travel, luxury tourism, and the MICE/business travel sector under RTE’s established portfolios of WTM (World Travel Market), ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) and IBTM (Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings), thought to be a winning combination which will bring the global spotlight to the African continent and allow exhibitors to showcase their attractions to an audience which matters.

Those unable to attend these events can still follow them through the social media via the following links:
