CHICAGO, IL – JBT Corporation today announced that its JBT AeroTech business has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $5 million for the supply of gate equipment to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The contract with Airports Company South Africa includes the supply of Jetwayยฎ passenger boarding bridges as part of the airport’s ongoing terminal infrastructure updates.

“We believe the awarding of this business will continue strengthening our relationship with Airports Company South Africa,” said Dave Burdakin, Vice President and Division Manager, JBT AeroTech. “Our entire team is pleased to significantly contribute to the success of this key expansion project at South Africa’s primary hub airport.”

JBT AeroTech anticipates the project to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2015.
