Mövenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Jones as its General Manager.

Jones will strategically drive the management team to achieve the hotel’s local and regional goals. In addition, he will ensure that the guest experience at the 191-keys Mövenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa is consistently maintained at the upscale brand’s high levels.
After starting his career aged 17, Jones now steps into his new role with over two decades of experience in the hospitality arena and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team at Mövenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa. He has worked for some of the industry’s most prestigious companies in city hotels as well as resorts in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Originally from Ireland, he was General Manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi since February 2012. Prior to this, he worked in Dubai with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts as one of the youngest hotel managers. Before that, he was with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in the United States for more than 12 years.

Jones believes in work-life balance and has a passion for automobiles and understanding history. He also collects antiques and enjoys sports.
