Diethelm travel said about the situation on Friday:
The antiย–government demonstrations in Bangkok have been peaceful and their leaders have pledged not to close down airports, BTS sky trains or MRT metro system, which will operate normally. We are continually monitoring the situation and want to stress that to date no tourists have been targeted during any demonstration.
Life in Bangkok and throughout Thailand continues to be normal. We will have a better understanding of the situation on Monday morning the 13th and will update accordingly.
