Egypt’s current military-installed rulers declared the Muslim Brotherhood of ousted president Mohamed Morsi a terrorist organization Wednesday, indicating a wider crackdown after blaming it for a deadly police station bombing claimed by jihadists yesterday.

A day after the initial deadly terror attack, on Thursday in a popular Cairo tourism neighborhood where the Intercontinental Hotel and Holiday Inn is, a blast on a bus caused casualties, a report from BBC said.

The head of the city’s bomb squad has told Egyptian media that at least four people had been injured.

Officials say they are investigating whether the bomb had been placed on the bus or hurled at it, reports say.

Details over the number of injured and dead, and if it includes tourists or foreigners are still unknown.

Egyptian authorities declared many times that tourists are safe in their country despite political difficulties.
