Review website TripAdvisor and the Trump Hotel Collection are among the global brands taking part in WTM Latin America 2014.

With more than 125 million reviews and operating in 34 countries, TripAdvisor claims to be the world’s largest travel site. As well as having its own stand at the event (B61), its experts will be taking part in the extensive programme of seminars, conferences and talks.

The Trump Hotel Collection chain (E202) will be exhibiting at WTM Latin America to showcase its nine luxury hotels in the US, Canada and Panama.

Other exhibitors taking part include the tourism promotion agencies of Germany and the US โ€“ Visit Germany (D10) and Discover America (E10) โ€“ and inbound tour operator, Brasil Total (Q07).

โ€œThe strong interest from destinations and private sector, in which some of them have already guaranteed their space in the event, proves the high expectation for the 2014 edition of WTM Latin America,โ€ said Lawrence Reinisch, director of WTM Latin America. โ€œThis reaction is because the previous edition impressed not only the visitors for the beauty and variety of products in the event, but also exhibitors that complemented the focus in business and professionalism of the participants.โ€

WTM Latin America 2014 takes place in Sรฃo Paulo on 23-25 April, in a landmark year for Brazilโ€™s travel trade, thanks to the FIFA World Cup.

Exhibitors at WTM Latin America will be divided into five sectors: Brazil, Latin America, World, Global Village (which brings together multinational brands), and the 41st Braztoa (Brazilian Association of Tour Operators) Business Meeting.

Hosted by the Transamerica Expo Center, the show will again cater for both outbound and inbound tourism, plus the leisure and corporate markets.

Its International Hosted Buyers programme will bring together 150 professionals from the leisure, corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Congresses and Exhibitions) sectors, offering them new business opportunities, pre-arranged meetings and networking events.

WTM Latin America had more than 1200 exhibitors from 44 countries in 2013.

The event taking place in 2014 will be even bigger, and occupy more floor space at the Transamerica Expo Centre.

New for 2014โ€™s event will be a travel technology region, which has proved to be a highly successful concept at WTM in London.

Also introduced for 2014 is the WTM Latin America Buyersโ€™ Club, created for buyers travelling to the event from around the world, and offering a lounge and rooms for meetings and relaxation.
