Gulf Airlines backs UN survey

“Created by the UN, the MY World Survey is the first global survey,” UN resident co-ordinator and United Nations Development Programme resident representative Peter Grohmann said.

“Created by the UN, the MY World Survey is the first global survey,” UN resident co-ordinator and United Nations Development Programme resident representative Peter Grohmann said.

“It is designed to utilise people’s voices and opinions to help shape the post-2015 global development agenda and therefore, allows world citizens to submit their six priorities, from a list of 16, which they believe would have the most impact on their future.”

Gulf Air’s chief operations officer Captain Nasser Al Salmi said the initiative to allow the perspectives of the world’s citizens to be heard in the UN is a great opportunity for Bahrain.

“We, at Gulf Air, commit to participate and contribute to the future of the globe and I sincerely hope that all the citizens and residents of Bahrain join us in supporting this very important initiative by voting online,” he added.

The UN set up a voting booth at Gulf Air at which all employees were given the opportunity to vote for the six issues that would make the most difference to their lives.
