China’s Guangdong province and Vietnam’s Da Nang City sign tourism agreement

Da Nang in recent years has become one of the hot tourist spots that attracts many Chinese tourists. From 2011 to 2013, China continuously topped the markets of foreign arrivals to Da Nang.

According to statistics by Da Nang Tourism Associations, in the first 11 months of 2013, there were over 105,000 Chinese tourists traveling to Da Nang, an increase of 14 percent year on year.

Also on Wednesday, the two sides co-hosted a seminar to promote bilateral tourism cooperation. Participants from 17 Guangdong’s tourism companies and 50 Vietnamese companies discussed potentials and policies for further strengthening cooperation, Vietnam’s state-run news agency VNA reported.
