The Pacific Islands Centre (PIC) participated in “JATA Travel Showcase 2013” organized by Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) from the 12th to 15th September at Tokyo Big Site (International Convention Centre) in Tokyo.

During the four days, more than 130,000 people visited the exhibition which is the biggest tourism exhibition in Asia. In this showcase, PIC set up “Pacific Islands” booth and promoted tourism of Pacific Countries in cooperation with various stakeholders such as National Tourism Office from FICs, PIF Embassies, and local tour coordinators. On 13th, PIC and JATA hosted Pacific Islands Tour-planning Seminar. In the seminar, each presenter from 6 PIF countries introduces its highly recommended travel point to more than 60 members from major Japanese travel agents.

WHAT TO TAKE AWAY FROM THIS ARTICLE:
