The Association of European Airlines is opening the doors of its AGM for the first time. The inaugural AEA Aviation Leadership Summit will take place on November 28 and 29, 2013 in Brussels.

As well as CEOs of AEA airline members, Commissioners, EU policy makers, regulators and politicians will be part of the event to achieve the “fertile soil” that is required for sustainable development of the industry.

The unprecedented opening of the AEA AGM will allow attendees to:

– Better understand the key priorities of the AEA and itsโ€™ member airlines

– Hear from leaders directly influencing the future of aviation in Europe

– Network with 31 airline CEOs at an event with only 150 attendees in total

The AEA is focused on delivering an aviation industry in Europe which is fair to both itsโ€™ members and their customers. Current key priorities are as follows:

– Delivering a coherent EU aviation policy which supports growth

– Regulation based on reality, not misconceptions

– Finding a solution to ETS

– Making the Single European Sky happen

– Ensuring Europe has competitive infrastructure
