TORONTO, Canada – Porter Airlines is the best small airline in the world according to Condé Nast Traveler’s 2013 Readers’ Choice Awards. It also ranks third overall among airlines in all categories.

“This is incredible recognition for everyone at Porter,” said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “We’re proud to represent Canada, our home city of Toronto and home airport at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport through this achievement.”

Porter sets itself above the competition by emphasizing service, and providing complimentary amenities, including lounge access, beer, wine and food for all passengers.

“We hope to make the Porter experience available to even more passengers across North America in coming years,” said Deluce. “Our plans will still keep Porter as a small airline with a distinct approach to service, but covering a more diverse route map.”

Porter is proposing to connect its existing network via conveniently-located Toronto City Airport to destinations such as Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver, beginning in 2016.
