The 19th international 2013 World Routes forum took place in Las Vegas in the United States, from October 5-8. This year, the World Routes brought together roughly 3,000 representatives from the tourism sector, coming from over 125 countries throughout the world.

Senior executives and the main players in aviation, tourism, and transport met during World Routes 2013. Their objectives: develop relationships in the tourism sector as well as new airline services, and promote destinations, notably through meetings and planned conferences.

It was completely natural that Alain St.Ange, President of the Vanilla Islands and Minister for Tourism for the Seychelles, was at World Routes 2013, where he was able to present the brand which now brings together seven islands from the Indian Ocean: the Comoros islands, Mauritius, Reunion, Madagascar, the Maldives, Mayotte, and the Seychelles. He was able to highlight the work carried out up to then by the Vanilla Islands during the different conferences to which he was invited to speak. Alain St.Ange was, therefore, able to show the investment strategies envisaged by the Vanilla Islands as well as the issues found by these destinations, before an assembly composed of managers of airlines and airports, ministers for tourism, minsters for transport, and leaders of associations from the industrial sector the world over.
