DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – The Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism is excited to announce it has been selected to host the 2014 SITE Executive Summit Jan. 31 – Feb. 1, 2014 at the Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort in Punta Cana. The country’s East Coast will be the breathtaking backdrop for the two-day educational forum, which will focus on destination marketing and the latest travel trends in the industry.

The annual event will welcome travel and event professionals to network and learn from the industry’s global leaders. As the industry continues to evolve, the Summit will provide insight for travel and event planners into how to market a destination as well as a knowledgeable background on the benefits of motivational experiences.

“We are truly honored by the opportunity to host the 2014 Summit in Punta Cana,” said Magaly Toribio, Marketing Advisor for the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism. “Dominican Republic is a popular destination for meeting and incentive travel planners, so we strive to further promote the offerings that cater to this market. Punta Cana is a prime example with vast all-inclusive resorts for every budget and taste, more than 40 miles of pristine coastline, state-of-the-art convention centers and amenities, and an ever-growing list of attractions and excursions for those looking to step outside the resort.”

Additional events will take place at resorts throughout the area, including Casa de Campo in La Romana and Punta Cana’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, Barcelo Palace Deluxe and Westin PuntaCana Resort & Club. Attendees can also opt to participate in post-event tours and explore first-hand that Dominican Republic has it all for meetings and incentives programs.
