PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) and the Indonesia PATA Chapter will hold the first Indonesian roundtable Hub City Forum in the cultural city of Yogyakarta near the magnificent Borobudur temple

PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) and the Indonesia PATA Chapter will hold the first Indonesian roundtable Hub City Forum in the cultural city of Yogyakarta near the magnificent Borobudur temple from October 10-12, 2013, announced Indonesiaโ€™s Director General for Tourism Development, Firmansyah Rahim. The venue will be at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel that has recently undergone complete renovation.

The Yogyakarta Hub City Forum will bring together key travel and tourism industry stakeholders and thought-leaders, government leaders and media representatives to examine critical issues facing the industry within the country, under the theme of โ€œGrowing Indonesiaโ€™s Tourism Sector: Embracing the Complete Visitor Economy.โ€ The Forum provides the opportunity for public and private sector leaders to exchange initiatives and insights that will act as a catalyst of growth for the countryโ€™s travel and tourism industry.

The Hub City Series is designed as a lively platform for open discussion and debate and offers an unparalleled networking opportunity for anyone involved in the travel and tourism industry in Indonesia. International delegates wishing to tap into this market, maximize business opportunities and understand current and future trends are invited to register for this unique PATA event.

Attending the Forum are officials of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and Tourism related government officials and representatives, Hotel chains/management companies, Airlines & Airport companies, Property Developers. Private Investors. Banks and Financial Institutions, wrote PATA.
