EmQuest and Contac Services launch mywurld™ platform

EmQuest, a division of Emirates Group, and Contac Services Inc., a leading source for travel solutions, partner up to launch the mywurld™ travel platform in Middle east & Africa. The mywurld™ suite of products will enable EmQuest to provide travel agents with a number of new, innovative products, adding value for their agencies and end customers.

EmQuest customers will be provided a single solution to manage their GDS bookings and to access global content, Emirates group products, local and regional vendors and Contac’s comprehensive suite of content.

The mywurld™ travel platform will enable travel agents to upsell GDS bookings with leisure components such as accommodation, tours and meet & assist by directly working with consolidators. Travel agents can then drive incremental revenues from existing air bookings.

Once booked, each customer will receive a mywurld™ itinerary which is dynamically generated as a personalized website with choices specific to each client and their specific itinerary. The suite of products also includes the mywurld travel planner –a tool that can simulate leisure itineraries without the need for an air ticket GDS booking.

Travel agents and their clients will benefit from rich destination information, flight and weather updates and the convenience of booking accommodations, destination excursions, entertainment, travel insurance and restaurant reservations either online or from their mobile smartphone will introduce the highest levels of service through the EmQuest solution. The Contac mywurld™ platform is also connected to the most popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter and allows travelers to upload and share their travel photos and travel details in real time with their personal network of family, friends and colleagues.
