When dog owners go on holidays or business trips, they often have difficulties finding someone to take care of their loyal companion. So don’t bark up the wrong tree trying to find a solution. At Frankfurt Airport (FRA), the airport manager Fraport AG is dedicated to the canine comforts of your four-legged family members. Located on the south side of the airport, FRA’s Dog Hotel boasts 25 kennels – at least 20 square meters in size and heated in the wintertime – and 3,500 square meters of space. Your dog can also run, play, and romp in large open areas. When you take to the skies, rest assured that your furry friend is in good hands and good company – thanks to Fraport’s professional canine care.

Pet owners pay only 18 euros per day during the summer and 20 euros per day in the winter. Plus, there is a one-time fee of 15.50 euros for cleaning the kennel after your dog departs. Known in German as the Hundepension, the Dog Hotel only accepts canine guests, no felines please! Interested dog owners are invited, at no obligation, to contact the Dog Hotel for a tour to see where their dog may be spending that next vacation. For more details and reservations, telephone +49.69.690.66542 or send an e-mail to [email protected] . The Dog Hotel is open to visitors from Monday and Friday between 0800 and 1600 hours.

The Dog Hotel highlights the spirit of Fraport’s “Great to Have You Here!” quality service program, launched at Frankfurt Airport to introduce new innovations and enhance service for making it even easier and more pleasant for passengers to depart, arrive and transfer via Germany’s largest aviation hub. FRA served more than 57 passengers in 2012.
