LOS ANGELES, California – It is ten years now that the former town hall, the Congress Park Hanau (CPH) in Hanau, Germany, went through a total refurbishment with the addition of a modern conference area, and opened its doors. The stylish glass construction with its distinctive triangular roof has now become more than just the โ€œparlorโ€ of the birthplace of the Brothers Grimm.

Green Globe member, the Congress Park Hanau has demonstrated leadership and innovation in the fields of operational efficiency and social responsibility for years. Sustainability is at the heart of all actions at CPH, and the congress park is a top operational performer, delivering a truly โ€œgreen product.โ€

โ€œThe CPH has long established itself as a location for trade fairs and is well-known as a conference center throughout the country. Way over half a million people have visited the CPH since October 2003, to attend trade fairs and exhibitions, symphony concerts, theatre performances, banquets, and of course congresses, conferences and seminars,โ€ reports General Manager Nicole Rautenberg.

Many famous guests count among the visitors to the location, including German chancellor Angela Merkel and celebrities from movie and television. โ€œAs a multifunctional event center we offer organizers from every area almost unlimited possibilities for trade fairs, theatre performances, concerts and company events. Over the past ten years we have won numerous patrons and the number of people making regular bookings at the CPH is growing steadily,โ€ states Nicole Rautenberg, who has been involved since Day One. She names Ford, BMW/Mini, Honda, KIA, VW, Opel, Continental, Dunlop, Deutsche Telekom, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Sparkasse Hanau, various chambers of trade and industry, the SPD and the CDU, as well as the State Chancellery of Hesse as examples of organizations that have chosen to hold their events at the CPH over the course of many years.

The CPH is the stylish alternative for automobile events with or without vehicle presentations in the Rhine-Main region. For those events, the Brothers Grimm Hall is converted into a unique showroom set against the green background of the castle gardens. โ€œOur lift has a capacity of up to 6,000 kilos and the building offers extensive and easy access for vehicles of every type,โ€ Nicole Rautenberg added.
