Estonian Air expands cooperation with AVIAREPS to Russia

After more than ten years of successful cooperation, Estonian Air has chosen AVIAREPS for its representation in Russia.

After more than ten years of successful cooperation, Estonian Air has chosen AVIAREPS for its representation in Russia. As yet the world’s leading airline and tourism representative was already contracted as General Sales Agent (GSA) of the well-respected carrier in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Denmark and the Ukraine.

With immediate effect, AVIAREPS Russia, with offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, will now handle all sales, marketing and ticketing activities in the Russian market on behalf of Estonian Air. The customer’s account will be headed up by Oxana Severina, sales manager at the AVIAREPS subsidiary in Moscow.

Estonian Air, founded in 1991, today serves 22 destinations in 17 European countries. From Moscow Airport, the national carrier of Estonia operates three flights a week to Tallinn. The flight time between Moscow and the capital of Estonia is just under two hours, and a modern Boeing B737-500 is used for the service.

“Both Estonian Air and AVIAREPS consider Russia a very important, growing aviation market. Continuously increasing traffic numbers also support this point of view,” explained Oliver Kuechler, chief operating officer of Aviation of AVIAREPS. “We are extremely delighted to represent Estonian Air with considerable sales and marketing activities in their sixth market. Due to its strong international network and many years of experience, AVIAREPS will contribute to strengthen the position of Estonia’s national carrier in Russia.”
