Singapore/Berlin, 23 April 2008 - ITB Asia, first offspring of ITB Berlin, the World's Leading Travel Trade Show, invites Travel Agents, Travel Managers and MICE Professionals to apply for the Hosted Buyer status. Applicants simply complete and submit the online registration form available at www.itb-asia.com under “Visitor Centre”.

The Hosted Buyer status will be awarded according to pre-set criteria that aim to meet the objective of ITB Asia Hosted Buyer program. To qualify successfully, applicants must be responsible for making or influencing buying decisions within the global travel market. Every Hosted Buyer will participate in a prescheduled appointment system that guarantees a maximum of quality contacts to sellers. Once qualified, all approved Hosted Buyers will be informed via email.

Educational conferences provided by MPI, ACTE and Web in Travel will complement the show to provide hosted buyers with indispensable industry knowledge about the latest trends and developments. In addition, numerous exciting activities and business networking opportunities await them.

ITB Asia will take place for the first time ever at Suntec Singapore on October 22-24, 2008. It is organized by Messe Berlin Singapore Pte, Ltd. in conjunction with Singapore Tourism Board. The event will feature over 500 exhibitors from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Americas and Middle East, covering not only the Leisure Market, but also Corporate and MICE travel. It will include exhibition pavilions and tabletop presence for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) providing travel services.

Exhibitors are from every sector of the industry, including destinations, airlines and airports, hotels & resorts, theme parks & attractions, inbound tour operators, inbound DMCs, cruise lines, spas, venues, other meeting facilities and travel technology companies etc.
