Tourism Society welcomes English Riviera Tourist Board
The Tourism Society is pleased to announce that the English Riviera Tourist Board is the latest organization to join the Society as a corporate member following their sponsorship of the broadcasting of the Society's annual conference.
English Riviera Tourist Board joins Best of Britain Events, Hilton Hotels, The Caravan Club, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Visit London, Superbreak, Travel GBI, Lloyds TSB Cardnet and the Oman Tourist Office as corporate members of the Society.
Aviva Pearson MTS, director of tourism for the English Riviera Tourist Board explained, "It was natural to make the decision for the ERTB to become corporate members, as we are fervently in support of the ethos and programs which are supported by the Tourism Society." Pearson continued, "To align ourselves with such a prominent and successful body within the industry will allow us all to support the visitor economy in the most unified way possible. Actions speak louder than words, and our actions underline our commitment to tourism and the future prosperity of the visitor economy within the United Kingdom. Looking at the current corporate member list is akin to reading a 'Who's Who in Tourism,' and we will be there, too, supporting the Tourism Society."
Alison Cryer FTS, chairman of the Tourism Society said, "The English Riviera Tourist Board have been a great supporter of the Society, and I am delighted that their corporate membership underlines their involvement."
