Gold medalist at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Daniel Narcisse, is back on his native island, Reunion Island. After a long season, it was natural that the islander decided to take in a real holiday in the sun in the Indian Ocean.

Daniel Narcisse arrived on Friday morning, June 28, at Roland Garros airport. Under a bright blue sky, the double Olympic champion from 2008 and 2012 trod the sunny soil of Reunion Island once again.

It was after a long season that Daniel Narcisse felt the need to get back to basics. What could be more natural for the champion from Reunion Island than to return to his family, his friends, and to enjoy a well-deserved rest? Daniel, who was crowned World Player of the Year in 2012, had been away from Reunion Island for a year.

Reunion Island Tourism wishes Daniel Narcisse a good holiday in the sun!
