Scots stars in new tourism plan

(eTN) - Movie star Ewan McGregor, pop singer Paolo Nutini and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay are among the Scots celebrities taking part in a new tourism campaign.
The scheme aims to attract winter visitors to Scotland and asks women which celebrity they would most like to receive a diamond from this Christmas.

The online poll is part of VisitScotland's Winter White Campaign.

It shows prospective visitors a variety of the seasonal activities available throughout the winter.

VisitScotland's product manager Suzanne Casey, said: "All our diamond geezers are great ambassadors for Scotland and I'm sure women around the country will be struggling to choose their Christmas favourite.

"This poll will help us attract more visitors to browse our website, chose their preferred Diamond Geezer as well as see the many amazing things to do and see in Scotland at this time of the year."
