The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific flew more than 3.53 million passengers from January to March (Q1) 2013, an increase of 5% compared to 3.37 million passengers in Q1 2012.

Seat sales, increased routes and flight frequencies and sustained promotions paved the way for international passenger growth in CEB’s ASEAN routes. CEB flew over 376,000 passengers in Q1 2013, posting a 12% growth compared to Q1 2012.

CEB flies from the Philippines to the most number of ASEAN destinations. This includes Brunei, Bali, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Siem Reap, Singapore and Thailand.

“Cebu Pacific continues to link islands and countries, and provide the lowest fare options so everyone can travel by air. International passenger growths are particularly fulfilling. We remain focused on driving tourism to and within the Philippines in 2013,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

CEB offers the most extensive network in the Philippines, with 34 domestic destinations on over 60 routes. This includes direct flights from Manila to the island paradise of Boracay (Caticlan), eco-friendly Palawan (Puerto Princesa) or the diving sites of Coron (Busuanga).
CEB is also slated to launch flights from Cebu to Masbate (June 1, 2013) and Taipei (July 5, 2013), as well as the airline’s first long haul flights from Manila to Dubai (October 7, 2013).

For bookings and inquiries, guests can go to www.cebupacificair.com, or visit nearest travel agents. The latest seat sales can also be found on CEB’s ASEAN Facebook page (www.facebook.com/cebupacificairasean).

Those still booking flights may also sign up to be a CEB Club member through the Cebu Pacific website, for seat sale alerts, easy management of flights and travel funds, and a faster booking process.

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 25 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 43 aircraft is one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2013 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 17 more Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders.
