Pegasus Airlines flies to Nuremberg

LONDON, England – Nuremberg will shortly become Pegasus Airlines’ 6th destination in Germany, alongside Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart.

LONDON, England – Nuremberg will shortly become Pegasus Airlines’ 6th destination in Germany, alongside Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Munich and Stuttgart. The new flights to Nuremberg, open now for booking and which launch on 17 June 2013, will depart Istanbul on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, returning from Nuremberg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

In July, an Izmir-Nuremberg route will also launch for the summer season with flights to Nuremberg running on Thursdays and returning to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport on Fridays.

Guests from Nuremberg can fly via Istanbul to a further 27 destinations, that is 20 destinations within Turkey (Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Batman, Bodrum, Dalaman, Diyarbakir, Elazig, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Izmir, Kayseri, Konya, Kutahya Zafer, Malatya, Mus, Samsun, Sanliurfa, Trabzon, Van) and 7 international destinations (Belgrade, Bologna, Bucharest, North Cyprus, Pristina, Sarajevo, Skopje). Nuremberg brings Pegasus’ network of flights to 70 destinations in 28 countries.

In the last 7 years, Pegasus Airlines has flown 2.7 million guests to Germany. Senior Vice-President โ€“ Commerical for Pegasus Guliz Ozturk explains how Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, and Munich were added as routes after Stuttgart in 2006. “Until now we have flown to five destinations in Germany all year round, adding Nuremberg, Zweibrucken and Hannover during the summer seasons. Since 2006, when we launched our first flights to Germany (Stuttgart), we have introduced 2.7 million of our guests travelling there the easy way to fly. As from this June, we have upgraded Nuremberg to be one of our regular scheduled routes in Germany with all-year-round flights to the city from Sabiha Gokcen. By increasing the number of scheduled destinations in Germany for the summer and winter seasons to 6, we have improved good-value travel connections between the two countries. As from June there will be 64 scheduled flights a week to 6 destinations in Germany from 5 poin ts within Turkey.”

Pegasus guests can make 34 international connections from Dubai; Almaty, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Beirut, Milan, Bologna, Brussels, Basel, Batumi, Cologne, Copenhagen, Donetsk, Dusseldorf, St. Etienne / Lyon, North Cyprus, Roma, Kharkiv, Tahran, Krasnodar, Lviv, Marseille, Munich, Omsk, Paris, Bucharest, Pristina, Skopje, London, Stuttgart, Berlin, Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Vienne, Zurich and can also make connections to Adana, zmir, Kayseri, Antalya, Batman, Bodrum, Diyarbakr, Dalaman, Erzincan, Ankara, Elaz, anlurfa, Gaziantep, Hatay, Konya, Malatya, Samsun, Sivas, Trabzon and Van in Turkey.
