iSeatz strengthens leadership team with travel industry veteran

iSeatz, a provider of highly-customized travel and entertainment solutions that power brand devotion and revenue for its clients, today announced the appointment of Charles (Chuck) Jensen as vice president of Travel Account Management. A seasoned airlines industry executive, Chuck brings more than two decades of experience in sales and marketing, online sales and product development to the Company.

“Chuck is an enormous asset to the iSeatz team,” said founder and CEO Kenneth Purcell. “His extensive sales and marketing knowledge and ability to draw from years of relevant experience will energize our efforts to make further inroads into the airline industry, uphold our commitment to providing superior customer service and elevate our market-leading offerings to the next level.”

As vice president of Travel Account Management, Chuck will manage iSeatz’ relationships with current clients including Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines and Air Canada. In this position, he will focus on developing and managing customized programs that generate ancillary revenue and meet strategic objectives, as well as enhancing client’s existing iSeatz-powered offerings. Chuck will also work alongside the iSeatz business development team to help establish new partnerships with domestic and international airlines.

Prior to joining iSeatz, Chuck held several long-standing leadership positions at Delta Air Lines, most recently serving as the general manager of delta.com. In this role, Chuck was responsible for developing and managing the delta.com mobile platform, revenue shopping and award shopping products, as well as all online ancillary revenue generation initiatives. Many of Chuck’s efforts directly contributed to the selection of delta.com as Airline Web Site of the Year in 2006 and 2007 by Business Travel News.

Chuck also played a critical role in envisioning and launching the newly-enhanced Delta web site in 2007, which was created in close partnership with iSeatz. The new delta.com represents the first time an airline has offered a one-stop, in-purchase path destination for all consumer travel needs, setting a new benchmark for the industry.
