Singapore – Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts announced the appointment of Frances Koh as the new marketing communications manager of Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, effective June 2008.

Frances will report to the senior vice president of sales and marketing, Kevin Croley, of Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, which is owned by Singapore-based UOL Group, Ltd. She is tasked with the development and implementation of internal and external brand communications strategies for the fast expanding hotel group across the Pacific region, including Pan Pacific Serviced Suites, the newly-launched luxury extended-stay brand.

Frances began her career in hospitality five years ago and has since accrued substantial regional experience and expertise in the field of marketing communications. She was most recently the marketing communications manager of Hilton Singapore where she was responsible for development of the hotel’s rebranding and marketing communications campaigns.

Prior to Hilton Singapore, Frances was based in Macau under Wynn Resorts Limited, where she was instrumental in the hotel and casino’s triumphant launch in Asia and oversaw the rollout of its regional brand marketing strategies in the communications department. In China, she was also part of the pre-opening team as assistant marketing communications manager at Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen, which was the first Four Points by Sheraton brand to debut in China, under Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

After graduating from Singapore’s Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Hospitality Management, Frances advanced her studies at the University of Melbourne in Australia where she earned her Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in International Marketing.

“Frances’ regional background in marketing communications will complement the corporate team and contribute significantly towards enhancing Pan Pacific’s brand presence in the Pacific region,” said Kevin Croley, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.
