The Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed that Kenya Airways has advised that it is increasing its Kenya-Seychelles schedule to three flights per week, effective Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

Kenya Airwaysโ€™ three frequencies per week, between Nairobi and the Seychelles International Airport on Mahe, will be on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday with timings as follows: depart Nairobi at 0905 hours and arrive Seychelles at 1320 hours. Kenya Airways will then depart Seychelles at 1410 hours and arrive Nairobi at 1620 hours.

“This is very good news for Seychelles, as Kenya Airways is part of an airline global alliance. Kenya Airways remain the longest-serving carrier to the Seychelles, even longer than Air Seychelles,” said Alain St.Ange, the newly-appointed Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture.

Kenya Airways is affiliated with KLM-Air France, and this announcement of a third frequency between Kenya and Seychelles opens more air access for the mid-Indian Ocean Islands.
